Ancient unexplained mysterious monuments and objects

Our Planet is home to many mysterious ancient structures and objects in plain sights which have remained unexplained to date by the mainstream historians, archaeologists and scientists. There is a recurring common theme among these ancient sites & artifacts (OOPArt) which clearly points at the presence of significantly complex & advanced technology that went into their construction process and unknown functional purpose. 

The general approach has been to largely ignore the scientific evidence and invent acceptable mainstream explanations or to completely ignore the evidence. Additionally, these ancient structures and artifacts have deliberately been kept out of the mainstream and hence remain largely unnoticed and unquestioned by the public. 

This is the intro, first part of a series, which I intend to deal with more details and examples in future posts. Please examine the images closely with an observers approach neutrally without biased by your specific notions, education or belief systems.  The images should arouse some immediate questions and it is intended to open a small window in your mind into a world that is not fully understood and hope it motivates you to explore further by following the links. 

I am personally biased towards the notion of existence of advanced lost civilizations in the distant past but that does not mean I expect everyone to follow my line of thought. We all have to make that decision based on personal research and inner guidance.
