In Feb'2015, AAP won the Delhi elections with an astounding margin that amazed all.
I was very moved by this tumultuous event and sensed a strong internal urge to write to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. Prior to this, after the victory in the previous elections, i had already joined the AAP and thus felt it obligatory to convey my sense of what was happening and the way ahead.I had an Utopian rush like never before!
To this end, i wrote an email to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal which i have faithfully reproduced below. The reason for doing so is simple.I simply wish to understand from your responses whether the message in the email was relevant and had an effect on the AAP leadership. Is their conduct so far fair, democratic and aligned towards the best interests of the voters of Delhi. Is there a real sense of change in Delhi or cherry picking for selfish motives?
How can we, the citizens & voters, change the system of dirty politics and abysmal governance.
How can technology be leveraged to bring real transformation power in the hands of the Aam Aadmi rather than a handful of elite men & women who continue to control our destiny in the guise of pathetic & obscene parliamentary democracy. How can we make them accountable on a daily/weekly basis rather than a 5years wait?

Subject: Congratulations and a message for the CM - very important -
please forward to the CM - from Atul Seth, Dammam
Importance: High
Dear CM Arvindji,
Congratulations on a decisive &
landslide victory.
This is quite evidently a massive
public mandate for change in the rule of law, government transparency,
accountability, development, employment and secularism.
I believe that now you are better
prepared to deliver the results with a planned strategy, committed,
unselfish & loyal core team and clear majority. Nothing SHOULD
prevent AAP from manifesting change as desired except deeply hidden and
virulent flaws internal to the management. Flaws of the human nature that arise
when first contact with absolute power and authority is made. I am betting that
this is not the case as the lessons have been learned. Pardon the directness.
It is the real test.
I am reminded of the ancient legends
of David & Goliath. India has many Goliath's, small – big- large- mega large
in all aspects of our society. The institutions of Government-Industry-Media
are strategically aligned with each other and actively control the present
& future realities of the masses. There is political & industrial
Covert alignment with foreign
powers/institutions that are not necessarily in the best interest of the
public.
I wonder how you plan to tackle
these enormous system transformations challenges. How can these be achieved as
CM of Delhi?
Who can be counted on as on the
right side of dharma?
The Judiciary (SC & HC) is
relatively an upright institution along with the Armed forces. These represent
rule of law & maintenance of integrity of India from external or internal
foes.
The police/paramilitary forces are
corrupt. Period.
Majority of Central & State
level institutions are corrupted.
Industry is divided but I know
majority are corrupt, unethical and immoral.
Where is the silent, subdued,
adjusted, abused, compromised, pens ionized, bus raped, and gang raped,
sexually harassed, majority? Where is the life blood, prana of India? Her true
custodians of cultural ideals & traditions & secularism? Do they exist in
the high towers, posh colonies & villas of the cities, towns? Are they the NRI’s?
No, I don’t think so.
AAP has to recognize the true motive
power that keeps India alive. This is the vast mass of forgotten and per-election ignored Indians.
It is the poor daily home worker,
laborer, worker, debt-i zed farmer and perpetually budgeted middle class. ~
70-80% of Indians??
This was the India that Gandhiji recognized and approached for assistance
to free India. This was the original base of the INC before the Baniyas took
over.
AAP management may spare some time
to discuss these thoughts and try to link them together for a national level
strategy that is based on People power and not
Power peoples. Alliances, co-alit
ions,…are a path to self destruction. AAP must walk alone and preserve the
simplicity, directness & boldness that voters have rewarded.
The greatest service that AAP and
YOU can do to INDIA is to file a PIL in SC as CM on behalf of the people of
India to force GOI to publicly disclose, sue and recover billions of USD in
Black money saved in overseas accounts. This one act alone is capable of
breaking the foundations of a great many corrupt institutions and personalities
once and for all. The artificial class system will crumble and refocus
attention away from materiality to co-operation, peace and prosperity for all.
This will in lieu accrue to AAP the
gratitude and loyalty of millions of Indians for generations to come and
instant National recognition and relevance.
David & Goliath. A legend
forever or a present day reality waiting to happen. AAP can chose the easier
path of local Delhi relevance or take the plunge into a living hell to
transform India. Yes, it will be a torturous journey with possibly threats to
your life and family. Do you recall Gandhiji, JFK, Martin Luther king, Mandela?
Will it turn out to be another
alternative party? The decision lies with you only. These opportunities come
rarely in our lifetimes, and the greater powers above have chosen you for a
specific purpose. You know this. I won’t go further. I could be wrong.
I apologize for my choice of words
if they appear to be disturbing but hope that you see through the greater
message and vision intended.
Wish you all the best.
Regards
